FinTech Worldwide: the intercontinental future of the sector

The Spanish FinTech and InsurTech Association, with the sponsorship of Madrid City Council, is holding a conference on 26 February focused on cross-border opportunities in the FinTech sector. This session is supported by leading international FinTech companies operating in Spain, as well as key partners essential to carrying out this initiative.

AEFI’s objective is to attract international companies to our country and to foster financial innovation through the exchange of cross-border developments and proposals within the financial sector.

In addition, Madrid will host the presentation of the latest international developments in the FinTech sector, thanks to the participation of the President of the Global FinTech Alliance.

Business opportunities for FinTech companies are expanding into Europe, driven by European financial regulation that harmonises the legal frameworks in which FinTechs operate; into Latin America, due to linguistic proximity and cultural similarities; and into Asia, thanks to the organisation of top-tier international events and the rapid growth of the technology sector in Eastern countries.
